Yes 🙌 haha this reminded me though of joking with my kids when they are annoyed with me “your soul chose me as your leader and lesson” 🤷♀️🍿 If you believe in soul groupings that kind of travel together in some way it’s really fun to imagine on this spin I might get to be the mom but maybe not in every iteration 🔄
There’s something great about imagining we travel in clusters. Different roles each time. Mother here. Child there. Teacher one round. Student the next. Same current, new configuration.
What feels alive in what you wrote though is the courage of being the leader in this iteration. The one holding the line. That’s no small role.
And yes… I imagine it’s especially humbling on the days when the “soul contract” feels less poetic and more like a full-time negotiation with small humans.

My middle child - 15 - says as a joke they must have finally decided it was my turn lol and that I was the only one who could guide us through this weird trip. Who knows but yeah I agree - stepping into leadership is an enormous part of this journey for me.
